We had a fantastic stay at this charming lodge in the heart of a beautiful old town. the location was perfect, with the main square and riverside cafes just a short stroll away. Our host, Mrs Maritsa, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even upgrading us to a bigger room for free. the lodge itself had so much character, with a cozy common room and a lovely inner courtyard for relaxing in the evenings. We also enjoyed a delicious and filling breakfast each morning. This place truly felt like a home away from home. Cons: Nothing to complain about - our stay was perfect! 👌.

The location of the lodge was ideal, close to the village center and with a beautiful natural trail nearby. The staff was very friendly, polite, and supportive. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, with all the amenities needed. Additionally, the breakfast provided was excellent.
That there was no Wi-Fi or internet access available at the lodge. Another negative aspect was the lack of staff presence during the day, making it difficult to find assistance when needed.

My stay at Maritsa Lodge was a delightful experience. The old building exudes charm and is beautifully decorated. The location is perfect, situated on the main street of the old town and just a short walk from the center of the village. The owner, Maria, was a wonderful host who made me feel welcome and took care of my needs. The room I stayed in was cozy and well-equipped, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast served each morning was delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend Maritsa Lodge for a memorable stay in Kakopetria.
The wifi connection was not very strong and could only be accessed in the public areas, not in the rooms. Additionally, the curtains in the room were see-through, allowing sunlight to enter early in the morning.

Great location for exploring the Troodos area and the UNESCO painted churches. • Friendly and cooperative staff during breakfast.• Enjoyed the Cyprus coffee they made for us.
Heating system only operated on specific hours, inconvenient when needing heating at different times. Room was not cleaned during our 5-day stay, even the rubbish was not taken out.

We had a wonderful, nostalgic experience staying at a charming period house in the heart of a picturesque village. The house seamlessly blended modern amenities with the character and ambiance of the past. The host, Maria, took excellent care of us and the views from the balcony were breathtaking. It was a perfect base to explore the surrounding mountains and other nearby villages. Despite a couple of small inconveniences, we highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.
